Clarke Family Reunion
The annual reunion of the Descendants of Benjamin Clarke began in Bourbon County, Kentucky, in 1924. It has been held each year since.
The pictures in the slideshow were taken at past reunions.
The reunions were moved to Blue Licks Kentucky State Park and were held there for many years on the traditional date for the reunion - the first Sunday in August. They were later moved to Maysville. In 1980 the family received an endowment from Champ Clarke of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, for the purpose of funding the reunions. It became a two day affair with motel rooms and banquet paid by the family corporation. In the past several years, the family provided a banquet meal only. The 2019 meeting will be August 3 in Carrollton, Kentucky. Attendance is by reservation only. If you are not on our list and believe you are descended from Benjamin Clarke, send the names of your ancestors that will tie you into our genealogy files. You can use the Genealogy Information link on the main page to find your link to the family.
